Building Connections to Create Community Among Veterans
Military veterans are a treasured asset. The Veteran Writers Network brings this truth to life by publishing their works and building community through networking and resource sharing. We work to shine a light on those with military experience who have something to say to an engaged readership. Everyone, veterans and non-veterans alike, is welcome to join us in supporting the cause.

The Veteran Writers Network

The Veteran Writers Network was created by a team of friends and colleagues who, after years of working with veterans, noticed the gaps between resources and the veterans who value them. So many goods and services are available for service-connected folks, but many of these go undiscovered by the people who need them most. The team wondered, “What if there was a website dedicated to making connections between vets and the wonderful programs and businesses available to them? How can we draw them together?” Paired with smart writing and robust discussions of contemporary topics, the Veteran Writers Network strives to go beyond a blog, beyond a website with a bunch of links. It's a place where visitors can go to connect to a network of goods, services, businesses, and resources as well as to one another. The goal is for the site to become a hub where anyone can go for all things veteran.
